Minecraft is a game where you build things like, houses, towns and cities. Although the only type of block is cube shaped, and the graphics are not very good at all, that is not what the game is about. The game can be played in two different ways. Creative mode is where you have access to any item in the game without having to search or mine for them. This mode is best if you want to build a big structure with a lot of one block on it. Survival is where, if you want a block or resource, you need to search for it. Lots of resources can be found underground and need to be mined with a pickaxe if you want to get them which is another large part of the game.
Also, another part of the game is monster killing. There are lots of different monsters, the most famous being the 'Creeper', and new ones are being added all the time. These monsters are hunted with swords which, like all the other tools, can be created with many different materials which have different advantages.
Personally, I enjoy this game, with it's many different playing options and would recommend it to someone else. The only problem is that if you play it too much, you do get bored eventually.

Overall, I would rate this game 9 out of 10.
